Datasets
This site brings together openly available datasets relating to malaria research. Each dataset listed here has been published by researchers or research networks and made freely accessible under an open licence, allowing anyone to explore, analyse, and build on the underlying data.
For each dataset, we provide a short overview, details on where it came from and how it's licensed, and tools to explore the underlying sample data directly — either as a searchable table or on a map.

The Pf7 dataset
Pf7 is a genome variation dataset from the MalariaGEN network, covering 20,864 samples of the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum, collected from 82 partner studies across 33 countries between 1984 and 2018.

The Pf8 dataset
Pf8 is the latest genome variation dataset from the MalariaGEN network, covering 33,325 samples of the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum, drawn from 99 partner studies across 34 countries and collected over more than 50 years.
